I go out walking after midnight
Birthday party cheese cake jelly bean boom. I have hit the wall. 37 was the eye opener. I can no longer drink with the hopes of carrying off a successful karaoke tune. I pulled off my usual Patsy Cline opener with ease but got that Johnny Cash wild hair again and in my inflated drunken state made a go at "Boy Named Sue" for the 2nd time. I did have the forthought enought to add a quick 2nd song to the ticket in the event that BNS didn't go as planned. the song started and i didn't even get to the 5th verse. Super BNS trainwreck! The Karaoke DJ quickly switched gear into my back-up, "Kingston town" by UB40............no luck there either. Finished the song on my hands and knees, beggin the crowd for forgiveness. I got a free drink for being so drunk. And so, with that said, Sunday was a bit slow and unforgiving. Thought i was gonna puke. but managed to get some coffee and some tea cake down. That helped.
I managed to apologize to LovelyWife who was charged with keeping me out of jail for the night. She said I was pleasant and very happy upon arriving home. What more can i ask for?
A word to the wise though. Before venturing our to our first stop, BW Wings, i had confirmed that they get Fox Sports so that we could watch a replay of 3rd round FA Cup play. They kiboshed us at the table. No soccer.............wah? The Manager was not very helpful and our waitress was cute but not such a quick thinker. I'm sure we dropped the biggest bill in there that night and not even an ounce of customer service from management. We did register a fair trivia score by the end but couldn't find the other 6 players in the place to exchange smack talk.
Overall Score for the Night: 8.5
No one got hurt and i think everyone made it home intact, although i haven't seen SeV to confirm 100%.
